“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”
~ Sir Winston Churchill
Private barn setting
Each session is individual to you, but I do have a general format that I follow.
-Meet and greet with the Horse
-Grooming
-Ground work
-Obstacle challenges
-Recall training
-Treats!
There may be days you want to focus just on grooming. In another session you may want to do more groundwork or obstacle challenges. At the beginning of each session, you will have the opportunity to tell me what you want to do.
I am present as your horse handler. Experience the accomplishment of completing tasks from the trust that has been established between you and the horse.

-Trauma
The unbearable sadness that a parent of an addict feels everyday
is lonely and isolated.
Help Me Horses offers an hour of relief from the heartache deep down. You will feel strength and hope while being in a private barn where you can let your guard down and release your emotions.
My hope is you find your smile through the horse even if it is
for just that hour.
One of the hardest challenges people experience is caring for a loved one. The emotional, physical
and mental toll can be overwhelming. Help Me Horses specializes in creating a private facility where
you can find comfort and inspiration by connecting with the healing powers of horses.
When an individual forms a bond with a horse in an equine therapy program, that animal is a blank slate. The horse enters the relationship with no pre-conceived notions or opinions about the recovering addict.
Physical contact with the horse and the horse’s non-judgmental nature can restore confidence and an appreciation of oneself. The therapy applies both to physical and emotional imbalances.
Any age can discover the magic of horses. This program is designed for seniors who want to regain or enhance their joy of life through a personal bonding with horses. The program provides an understanding of horses, safe interaction, and an opportunity to develop skills in equine handling. Similar programs around the country have found that seniors can improve balance, flexibility and endurance as a result of this kind of activity. There are also psychological benefits: developing a sense of meaning, promoting social connections and acquiring a sense of accomplishment.
“The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact
with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom.”
~ Sharon Ralls Lemon
